Sam Granger

Sam is the Portfolio Manager of the Equanimity High Conviction Fund and the Founder of Equanimity Partners.


Sam was most recently employed at Totus Capital from 2014 to 2021. He established the High Conviction Fund in partnership with Totus Capital in 2017, successfully running the Fund under the Totus banner for more than 4 years before executing a management buy-out and establishing Equanimity Partners in May 2021.


Prior to Totus, Sam worked as an Equity Analyst at Naos Asset Management from 2012 to 2014. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) majoring in Economics and Finance at the University of Sydney in 2014.

 

Chris Cuffe AO

Chris is the Chair of the Equanimity Partners Advisory Board. Chris has enjoyed a storied career in the Australian funds management industry, including highly successful stints as CEO of Colonial First State Investments and Challenger, as well as Chairman of UniSuper.


Chris received the Australian Fund Manager’s RBS Hall of Fame Award in October 2007 for his contribution to the investment management industry. In 2017 he was appointed as an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia.

Amongst a variety of roles, Chris is currently Chairman and Founder of Australian Philanthropic Services (APS), a not-for-profit organisation which facilitates effective philanthropy within Australia’s high net worth community. The APS Foundation is an investor with Sam.
